Thursday 16 April (all day)
Hey people! Welcome to the doodling page. On this page you will be challenged to reclaim the abstract content which is your personality, by visualising it. This challenge takes three different shapes which are ‘climart,’ ‘introspection,’ and ‘futurespection’. These separate challenges will be explained below. You can participate in either one or multiple of the doodling categories. What you will do is pick a challenge and start doodling. It is as simple as that! You can doodle on paper, on your tablet, on a computer, or even with clay. There is no wrong way to go about it. Once you have finished your doodle, you can post it in the comments with the appropriate hashtag. For example, if you have made a introspection doodle, you will post it with #introspection. You don’t need to further explain what you have drawn, but it you want to do so, you can!
For each of the categories there is a price. The prices are three different packages of seeds. In package one you will find everything to start your own herb garden; package two contains flower seeds; and package three allows you to grow your own veggies!. For each category we will hand out one price, which you can come pick up at EUC once it opens again.
Climart doodling challenges you to thoughtfully reconsider your position in the climate crisis. This takes several shapes. For example, you can express your anxiety about the issue, incorporate your active position in the climate crisis, or maybe even criticise the lack of attention you think you have paid to it.
Introspection doodling pushes you to think about yourself in deeper, more abstract ways. Here you can take a dive in the unknown of your personality, or you can share a visual representation of who you are with others. This can be done by things other than words and concrete objects. Rather, the use of abstract shapes, movements, and colours is encouraged.
Futurespection doodling encourages you to inquire yourself in yet another way. Doodle that immaterial thing that you would want to see in yourself, but that you do not yet possess. To give a few examples, would you like to be more brave? Or maybe more understanding? It can be anything!
